Corrections

If a figure here disagrees with its source, tell us and it will be fixed. Include the page URL and the source you compared it against. The fix is applied to the data the page is rendered from, so the page itself changes and no separate copy can drift out of step.

Data and sources

We cite the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Statistics Canada, the Internal Revenue Service, the Federal Reserve, the Bank of Canada, the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada, Freddie Mac and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, among others. If you publish a dataset that belongs on a reference sheet of this kind, send the source URL, the reference period and the publisher.

Editorial policy
